For the ISU culminating assignment, you will create a media text based on adapting the setting and themes of Lord of the Flies or Hamlet to the modern setting of Toronto in the year 2023. The media text could be in the form of a play, blog detailing the events, social media conversation, video, audio podcast, etc. Be creative! Many ideas are allowed but you must show evidence of research, and there must have both a presentation component and a writing component submitted. This assignment has several parts and is worth a total of 15% of your final mark:

1. Assessment for Learning: Draft of Ideas Outline – this is not for marks but the teacher will provide feedback on idea
2. Observation and Conversation Assessment
3. Final Project (completed media text)
4. Assessment as Learning: self assessment / peer assessment of other students (if applicable)
