 __ /10 Knowledge (K), __ /10 Application (A), __ /10 Communication (C), __ /10 Thinking (T), __ /40 Total Marks

For this assessment, you will expand on the focused conversation skills you learned to present your blog entry regarding the application of mathematical concepts of the course. You will make a live video presentation, and it must contain a word problem based on concepts discussed in this course. The presentation must be at least five minutes in length, and you must be able to respond to the teacher’s questions related to your presentation topic.

Although the teacher will grade this assignment, self assessment and peer assessment are also important, as seen in the rubric below (the teacher has the final judgement of the quality):

Categories

Level 1 (50-59%)

Level 2 (60-69%)

Level 3 (70-79%)

Level 4 (80-100%)

Knowledge

Limited understanding of the concepts

Some understanding of the concepts

Good understanding of the concepts

Excellent understanding of the concepts

Application

Limited skills in presenting work: boring to watch

Some skill in presenting work: mildly interesting to watch

Skill demonstrated in presenting work: interesting

Excellent level of skill in presenting work: very interesting to watch

Communication
