This course offers students an in-depth exploration of major global issues, focusing on topics such as population dynamics, economic development, environmental challenges, and political conflicts. Through five comprehensive units, students will examine the impact of globalization, sustainability, and human rights on quality of life worldwide. The course is structured to encourage critical thinking and global awareness, with each unit culminating in assignments that assess students' understanding. The course concludes with a significant independent study project and a final exam, each contributing to the final grade.
